View answerFollowing the resignation of the former Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Eamon Gilmore, TD, in July 2014, his personally appointed Special Advisers referred to in the details of the question received redundancy and severance payments from the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade in accordance with the terms of their contracts of employment and instructions from the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform.
