299. Deputy Sandra McLellan asked the Minister for Defence if unused portacabins, from either the Fermoy or Kilworth Army camps, could be donated to an organisation (details supplied) in County Cork; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8851/15]
View answerThe former Reserve Defence Force property at Fitzgerald Barracks, Fermoy was sold in 2014 and is no longer under the ownership of my Department. I have been advised by the Defence Forces that there are no surplus portacabins available in Lynch Camp, Kilworth at this time nor are there any surplus portacabins in the Old Barracks in Fermoy.
I regret on this occasion my Department cannot be of assistance.
