Deputy Niall Collins asked the Minister for Justice and Equality the resources and facilities available to the chair designate (details supplied) of the proposed Garda authority to facilitate and support the chair designate in this role; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The chairperson designate of the Policing Authority has been provided with office facilities and a transition team to enable her to do preparatory work ahead of the passing of the legislation which will establish the Authority.
