386. Deputy Dominic Hannigan asked the Minister for Health the amount spent by his Department in legal fees in 2012, 2013 and 2014 in appealing decisions taken by the High Court; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20162/15]
View answerTotal legal fees for 2012 and 2013 for the Department are presented in the table. The Department in general, avails of legal services and advice from the Office of the Attorney General and the Office of the Chief State Solicitor. If there is a particular case that the Deputy requires details for, please contact me again and I will investigate further. I will revert to the deputy with the total legal costs for the Department for 2014 as soon as possible.
