Deputy Seán Kenny asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if he will request the chief executive officer of Iarnród Éireann to increase the capacity on the 9.35 a.m. train service from Drogheda, County Louth to Connolly Station, Dublin 1; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The issue raised is an operational matter for Iarnród Éireann in conjunction with the National Transport Authority (NTA) and I have forwarded the Deputy's question to both the company and the NTA for direct reply.  Please advise my private office if you do not receive a response within ten working days.
