View answerThe position is that my Department allocates funding on a calendar year basis. In 2014 the overall funding provided by my Department including recurrent funding (core grant and free fees), and that provided under the Student Grant Scheme, higher education research funding and other higher education funding (excluding capital expenditure) was €1,471.8 billion.
