The applicant’s final premium payment for his plantation has been withheld due to outstanding remedial works on the site. The contract was referred to the Forest Service’s District Inspector for an on-site inspection and he has now reported that another growing season is required to determine the effects of the fertiliser that has been applied. The Forest Service will send the applicant a Declaration of Completion of Works form that should only be submitted when the plantation has reached the standard required under the scheme but not before the end of September 2016 (the end of the next growing season).
