58. Deputy Noel Coonan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection when an application under the carer's allowance scheme by a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary will be finalised; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [1739/16]
View answerThe department informs me that there is no application by the person concerned for carer's allowance registered. If the person in question wishes to make an application, he should complete and return the application form (CR1) that I have arranged to issue to him.
Only on receipt of a fully completed application form can his entitlement to carer's allowance be determined.
