Deputy Seán Kyne asked the Minister for Education and Skills to set out the status of an application for additional classroom, resource, learning support and special needs accommodation for a school (details supplied); when the application will be examined; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm that the school referred to by the Deputy has made an application to my Department for capital funding for the provision of additional school accommodation. The application is currently under consideration and my Department will be in contact with the school concerned in the matter shortly.
