Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources if the recently published White Papers on energy (details supplied) will be enacted as soon as possible; if they will be in place before Dáil Éireann dissolves; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerI published the Energy White Paper - Ireland’s Transition to a Low Carbon Energy Future 2015-2030 - in December 2015. The White Paper sets out the high-level framework for energy policy out to 2030. It includes over 90 actions which will be implemented with delivery timelines provided for key actions. My Department will lead on the implementation of the White Paper in conjunction with other Government Departments, Agencies, stakeholders and citizens.
