The new Government established the Cabinet Committee on Housing, as committed to in the Programme for Partnership Government, to deal with the challenges around housing, homelessness and mortgage arrears. It has met eight times to date: 12, 20 and 26 May; 2, 9, 15 and 30 June, and the most recent meeting, which was held on 7 July 2016.
The Cabinet Committee on Housing will meet again in the autumn.
