467. Deputy Fiona O'Loughlin asked the Taoiseach and Minister for Defence to raise the matter of ambulance cover for personnel exercising horses at the next meeting of the Curragh forum; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23003/16]
View answerIt is the responsibility of those involved in the training and exercising of horses on the Curragh gallops to ensure that proper health and safety provisions are in place. As this is not a matter for the Department of Defence or the Curragh Forum it is suggested that concerns in this regard might best be brought to the attention of the HSE.
