287. Deputy Niall Collins asked the Minister for Education and Skills to outline the actions he is taking to progress the proposed new building programme at a school (details supplied); if his attention has been drawn to the anxiety of the school community in respect of the matter; if his attention has been further drawn to the fact that the increased accommodation would greatly benefit the school; the schedule now being followed in the matter; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Deputy will be aware that a building project for the school to which he refers was included in my Department's 6 Year Capital Programme.

My Department is currently finalising the accommodation brief for the project and will be in further contact with the school in the near future in relation to initiating the architectural planning process for the project.
