I propose to take Questions Nos. 184 to 186, inclusive, and 188 to 191, inclusive, together.

Birthrate Plus is a midwifery workforce planning tool. It is an evidence-based methodology that takes account of a range of factors to determine the appropriate midwifery resource for maternity services. As such, it does not make recommendations on ultrasound machines. In relation to the specific queries on staffing numbers and equipment, I have asked the HSE to reply to you directly.
