223. Deputy Thomas Pringle asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection when an application for carer's benefit by a person (details supplied) will be completed; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [48409/17]
View answerI confirm that my department received applications for carer’s benefit from the person concerned in respect of her two daughters on 21 August 2017 and 6 September 2017. The applications are currently being processed and once completed, the person concerned will be notified directly of the outcome.
I hope this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
