Deputy Catherine Connolly asked the Minister for Health further to Parliamentary Question No. 467 of 20 September 2017, the opening date of the new 50-bed mental health unit at Galway University Hospital in view of the fact that the planned operational date for the new unit is Q4 2017; the complement of staff necessary to run this unit; if this number has been recruited; if the assignment of staff will mean a reduction in staff for other services; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
