1149. Deputy Patrick O'Donovan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the reason a person (details supplied) has not received a 2016 green bio-carbon agri-environment scheme, GLAS, payment; the reason for non-payment; the reason for the delay in issuing payment; when payment will be made; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The person named was approved into GLAS 2 with a contract commencement date of 1 January 2016.

A Department inspection took place on this case during which an issue was identified. All issues have now been resolved and the case has been cleared for payment. GLAS payments are now issuing on a weekly basis.
