Deputy Peter Burke asked the Minister for Rural and Community Development the number of persons at assistant principal level under the aegis of his Department due to retire in the next six months due to age in counties Galway, Mayo, Roscommon and Clare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I wish to confirm, with regard to my Department, that there are no Assistant Principal Officers in Counties Galway, Mayo, Roscommon or Clare, expected to retire in the next six months, due to having reached retirement age.
