243. Deputy Michael McGrath asked the Minister for Justice and Equality when the commencement order for all Parts, except Part 4, of the Civil Liability (Amendment) Act 2017 will be signed (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8485/18]
View answerThe position is that, following the making of necessary Rules of Court, I expect to be in a position to commence all Parts, except Part 4, of the Civil Liability (Amendment) Act 2017 in the coming weeks. Part 4 of the Act, which deals with the issue of open disclosure of patient safety incidents, will be the subject of a separate commencement order by the Minister for Health.
