Deputy Jim O'Callaghan asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform the status of plans to increase the compulsory retirement age from 65 to 70 years of age for public servants recruited after 1 April 2004 as per his announcement in December 2017; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
