The National Famine Memorial Day Bill, which inter alia proposes the establishment of a fixed date for the annual commemoration, passed Second Stage last year. A date has not yet been agreed for the scheduling of the Committee Stage of the Bill. I understand that the issue of a money message in respect of this Bill remains under consideration.
