187. Deputy Joan Burton asked the Minister for Education and Skills the number of tenders received by the closing date of 16 April 2018 for the construction of a four classroom extension to a school (details supplied) in County Kildare; if the extension will be constructed during the school summer holidays; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17483/18]

The school to which the Deputy refers was allocated funding under my Department's Additional Accommodation Scheme to provide four mainstream classrooms. 

As the project has been devolved to the school authority for delivery my Department would not be aware of the number of tenders received or when work is due to commence on site.
