245. Deputy Pat The Cope Gallagher asked the Minister for Education and Skills if his attention has been drawn to the rapid projected increase in student numbers for a school (details supplied) in County Donegal; his plans to provide additional accommodation for the school to cater for the additional 185 student intake projected for September 2018; the timeframe for delivery of the additional accommodation for the school; the timeframe for plans to include necessary planning permission requirements; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm that an application for additional accommodation from the school referred to by the Deputy has been received by my Department.

My Department have been liaising with the relevant ETB in respect of the application and will revert to the school authority in the matter once a decision has been finalised.
