61. Deputy Niall Collins asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade the number of public relations companies that have been recruited by his Department in 2018; the areas and campaigns in which they have given advice; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [39165/18]
View answerMy Department has not recruited any public relations companies in 2018, nor incurred expenditure on external public relations. While my Department has from time to time commissioned companies with a public relations and communications background, this has been done with a view to the provision of other professional services such as project management, logistics and event management, including in relation to Irish Aid public outreach activities.
