Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if his attention has been drawn to the fact that some DARTs arriving at stations during rush hours have just four carriages when prior to the timetable changes all DARTs at rush hour had eight carriages (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. The issue raised is a matter for the National Transport Authority (NTA) in conjunction with Iarnród Éireann and I have forwarded the Deputy's question to the NTA for direct reply. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a response within ten working days.
