Deputy Mary Butler asked the Minister for Health his plans in the short to medium term to meet representatives of an organisation (details supplied) to discuss new medication which could be made available for sufferers of multiple sclerosis here; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Owing to scheduling difficulties, it was not possible for me to meet with MS Ireland in June. However, a meeting has been scheduled to take place in the coming weeks.
