95. Deputy James Lawless asked the Minister for Education and Skills the timeline for the construction and remaining stages of a new building for a school (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [41826/18]
View answerThe project to which the Deputy refers has been devolved for delivery to the local Education and Training Board (ETB).
The project is at stage 2b of the architectural planning process. When stage 2b has been approved, the next stage is tendering for a contractor. My Department expects to be able to approve the project to proceed to tender shortly. It is not possible to provide a construction timeline for the project until the tendering process has been completed.
