Deputy Jack Chambers asked the Taoiseach and Minister for Defence further to Parliamentary Question No. 108 of 26 September 2018, the reason for the delay by the military authorities in the release of information sought; if this information will be released; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerI am informed by the military authorities that, in order to verify that no applicant has progressed in any competition since 2012 despite not meeting the set down criteria, a thorough review of records since that time would be required.
In this context, the information is not readily available and, I regret, cannot be provided to the Deputy.
