637. Deputy Robert Troy asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection if a payment will be expedited for a person (details supplied). [43430/18]

Following a successful appeal, this lady has been awarded disability allowance (DA) with effect from 30 July 2017. The first payment will be made on 24 October 2018.

Arrears of payment due will issue as soon as possible once any necessary adjustment is calculated and applied in respect of any overlapping payments (if applicable).

I trust this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
