1024. Deputy Willie O'Dea asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection when a payment will issue for an illness benefit claim in the case of a person (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [44747/18]
View answerThe Illness Benefit payment issue for the person concerned has now been resolved and all arrears owing to her have been issued.
She is currently certified to 6th November 2018. If she remains ill and unfit for work, a further medical certificate should be submitted to the Department as soon as possible.
I trust this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
