1085. Deputy Thomas Pringle asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection if a person (details supplied) will be able to reapply for illness benefit; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [45232/18]
View answerIf the person's doctor certifies her as medically unfit for work and she successfully reapplies for Illness Benefit, she can request permission to continue with the course. One of my officials will contact the customer to advise and assist her in relation to this matter.
