1093. Deputy James Lawless asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection when an illness benefit payment in the case of a person (details supplied) will be normalised; the status or changes to the system which have resulted in delayed or irregular payments; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [45263/18]

The Illness Benefit claim for the person concerned is now paid up to date. She is certified to 11th November 2018. If she remains unfit for work, a further medical certificate should be submitted to the Department as soon as possible.
