I met with the CEO and Chair of Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland (the new name for the Irish Film Board) on Wednesday 17th October, 2018. It should be noted that my Department maintains contact with Fís Éireann on an ongoing basis. The Deputy may also wish to know that as part of Budget 2019, I announced an increase of 14% in the 2019 Fís Éireann allocation bringing it to €20.04m.
