245. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht the extent to which ongoing evaluation is taking place in respect of heritage sites with a view to archaeological exploration and excavation in circumstances in which it is suitable in the context of the promotion of such sites for educational and tourism purposes; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
