Deputy Imelda Munster asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the status of the current state of the CIE superannuation scheme 1951; his plans in relation to the scheme; his plans to reimburse the scheme of moneys previously removed during the recession; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Issues in relation to Córas Iompair Éireann (CIÉ) pension schemes are primarily a matter for the trustees of the pension schemes, the CIÉ Group and their employees.  Therefore, I have referred the Deputy's question to CIÉ for direct reply. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a response within ten working days.
