306. Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Health the reason a centre (details supplied) is closing; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [50142/18]

Minister of State at the Department of Health

I understand that the centre to which the Deputy refers has received funding from the HSE and TUSLA. I am advised by the HSE that the closure of the centre is a decision of the board of the centre. The HSE acknowledges this decision and wish to pay tribute to the work of the centre over the years.
