View answerEuropean Commission proposal COM (2017) 276 is a proposal for a Council Directive amending Directive 1999/62/EC on the charging of heavy goods vehicles for the use of certain infrastructures, as regards certain provisions on vehicle taxation. The proposal was adopted by the Commission on 31 May 2017. It is still under consideration by the Council and a Council Decision has not been adopted as yet.
