Deputy Jackie Cahill asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if the case of a non-payment to persons (details supplied) will be investigated in view of the fact they have been informed that all matters relating to same have been addressed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The person named submitted an application to my Department under the 2018 Young Farmers Scheme. My Department is currently finalising the required administrative and on-farm checks in relation to a small number of Young Farmers Scheme applications and it is expected that these cases will be completed shortly.
