216. Deputy Brendan Ryan asked the Minister for Education and Skills if he has received an application for major capital works funding by a school (details supplied); the work for which funding is required; the status of the application; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5025/19]

I can confirm to the Deputy that my Department has received an application from the school in question for additional mainstream and specialist classroom accommodation. As soon as the application is accessed the school authorities will be informed of the outcome.
