262. Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Education and Skills further to Parliamentary Question No. 911 of 3 November 2018, the usage to be made of the vacant site at Gaol Road, Kilkenny, once occupied by a school (details supplied); the length of time the site has been vacant; the reason therefore; if the site can be leased to an organisation that wishes to provide training courses for volunteers at a central location; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I wish to advise the Deputy that the building in question is being used by Ormonde College of Further Education for the provision Post Leaving Courses since September 2018.

However, it is open to the organisation referred to by the Deputy to contact Kilkenny and Carlow Education and Training Board with a view to having access to the building outside of college time.
