Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Health the number of the 1,800 members of the National Ambulance Service availing of the facility to have union deductions taken by NAS payroll; and the number of members of a union (details supplied) exited on the date on which their subscriptions were ceased in view of the fact that he has access to figures for the deductions.
