187. Deputy Clare Daly asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform if he was informed prior to November 2018 of the latest cost overruns at the national children’s hospital; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7351/19]
View answerThe first full assessment of the cost overrun and the reasons for it was received by my Department in the form of a report from the National Paediatric Hospital Development Board submitted by the Department of Health on the 19 November. My Department reviewed the report and met with the Department of Health to discuss it on the 23 November and made a formal submission to me on 26 November.
