261. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government the number of local authority housing tenancies entered into in the past 12 months; the number of tenancies arranged between approved housing bodies and local authority housing applicants in the same period; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department does not hold information on the number of social housing tenancies entered into by local authorities or Approved Housing Bodies (AHBs) each year. The allocation of social housing dwellings is a matter for each local authority.
