Deputy Brendan Smith asked the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht the capital funding in the Estimates for 2019; the amount and percentage overall of the capital budget that will be allocated to Waterways Ireland; the works and projects to be undertaken with such funding; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The Estimates for 2019 have provided €75,800,000 in capital funding for my Department.

 Of this €4,380,000 - 5.7% has been allocated to Waterways Ireland for capital works.

The projects to be undertaken by Waterways Ireland are:
