Deputy Gerry Adams asked the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs the average waiting times for counselling services at each of the 16 State funded rape crisis centres in each of the years 2016 to 2018 and to date in 2019, in tabular form; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Tusla, the Child and Family Agency has statutory responsibility for the care and protection of victims of domestic, sexual and gender-based violence.

As the matters to which the Deputy refers are operational, I have requested Tusla to respond to the Deputy directly.
