Deputy Eugene Murphy asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the number of samples submitted to the Central Veterinary Research Laboratory from licensed export slaughter plants operating in counties Roscommon and Galway in 2017, 2018 and to date in 2019, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Table: The number of samples submitted to the Central veterinary Laboratory from licensed export plants from Roscommon & Galway from 1st January 2017 to 28th February 2019. There is one export licensed plant in Galway and one in Roscommon. The table represents the cumulative figures for both.
