View answerI understand that there is a proposal from a private sector entity to construct a fuel pipeline to supply aviation fuel to companies at Dublin Airport. This is a commercial matter for that private entity which would require consents from the landowners, roads authorities and planning authorities. While the possibility of making legislative provision to advance the implementation of this proposal has been raised, I am not convinced of the case for such legislative change at the present time, prior to the above work being completed.
