473. Deputy Dara Calleary asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if his Department has an operating language scheme in accordance with the Official Languages Act 2003; and the date when such a scheme was introduced. [15499/19]
View answerThe Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport has a 3 year rolling Irish Language Scheme in place in accordance with its obligations under the Official Languages Act 2003 and in compliance with the 20 year Strategy for the Irish Language 2010-2030. The current Scheme covers the period 2018-2021 and commenced with effect from 2nd February 2018.
