619. Deputy Dara Calleary asked the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht the number of participants annually in the Gaeltacht housing grant scheme in the three years prior to its being suspended. [14779/19]

I am advised by my Department that while the number of participants under the Gaeltacht Housing Scheme for the each of the years 2006 to 2009 is not available, the number of applications was as follows:

The total expenditure on this programme over the period in question was €19.043m.
