185. Deputy Tony McLoughlin asked the Minister for Education and Skills further to Parliamentary Question No. 155 of 2 April 2019, if there has been progress to date in resolving the discrepancy between pay scales for former FÁS employees that transferred to SOLAS whilst legislation was being enacted and that subsequently transferred to education and training boards, ETBs; and if he will make a statement on the matter. SOLAS staff who transferred to ETBs retained their existing salary scales on transfer. Union representatives have submitted a claim under normal industrial relations procedures in respect of certain grades, and this is still being examined by my Department.
